About me
Airida Milašauskienė was born and raised up in Lithuania. As a child, she studied at an art school, later she graduated from Audiovisual Art at Šiauliai University.
Drawing accompanied her since childhood, her mother told how when she was little she used to eat snow so that she would get sick and be able to draw peacefully at home. From an early age she liked to draw people, animals, abstractions, although she did not associate the future with art.

After creating a family and raising children, she did not draw for a long time. She did not feel that she had the internal resources for this. However, after a very long break, he felt an irrepressible desire to create. As fate would have it, dry pastel fell into her hands... This technique is not easy, but once you master it, you can create both very realistic and abstract paintings. The first drawing was a portrait of a woman, followed by a drawing of animals, landscapes. Airida wanted to test the possibilities of pastel and find her favorite direction. However, she was most attracted to the most complex genre - portraits. "When drawing a person, it's like you dive into his inner world, and it's like you start to feel his mood and state when he was photographed," said the artist.... This was followed by acquaintance with oil paints, which revealed even greater possibilities. Painting on canvas became another form of expression and passion. The dimensions of paintings and portraits became limitless.

The current creative stage is about a woman's inner world, woman's sensuality, and versatility. It is an inexhaustible source of emotions. Because Airida is a woman, each of her paintings reflects her state and energy at the time.
Without daily contact with paint, canvas or paper, the artist can no longer imagine herself. Creativity is the basis of her personality and life.
Airida is convinced that nothing in life happens by chance. People she met, life experiences, difficult experiences, changing her attitude towards life - all this brought her back to herself...
